Today was my first time visiting Hollywood Nails and I was beyond impressed. The air smells clean - no chemical smell here. They were all friendly and very professional. I will absolutely return for my next set of nails after such a pleasant experience.
I went yesterday with my oldest stepdaughter. I read the reviews and it seems this isn't a common occurrence for most people so I'm at a loss. I had a gentleman apply a full set of acrylics on me. My nails have streaks in the gel polish, there's cured polish I had to trim on my left thumb because the side wasn't cleaned up and it was poking into my skin. My ends are poorly capped, I have lift up on two of my nails, there's fuz (a small black hair from the brush they use to dust off your nails) stuck in top coat on of my right ring finger nail, him and his coworker that preformed the service started making remarks about wanting acrylics for my daughter to which I had a discussion with him about. It kills me because he was the most gentle nail technician I've ever had. I left him and my daughter's nail techs a tip and left. Paid 100 for a 96 and some change service and was shorted my small amount of change on top of their fifty dollar a piece tip. It's at your discretion. I see so many decent reviews I want to say maybe they were having a bad day but it's really heartbreaking. I never treat myself or kiddos with things like this but I had a date and she needed to have a break from her world and she loves nails. My daughter's nails were a beautifuly done mint green with no issues. I hope if it was a bad day, the tip helped make you smile, but please don't do that to people. Kindness is key. I would have loved to be a returning customer.
My new favorite nail salon! All of the ladies I spoke with were friendly and kind. And I really appreciate that they took their time. Plus, there's plenty of color options and it's pretty quiet, even with the relaxing music and will be returning!
I made my appointment a couple days ago and arrived 10 minutes late, but Hollywood Nails acted really professionally. I really liked my experience here. I've gotten so many compliments already *****
Very friendly and officiant. Made the whole experience feel pampering and peaceful. And my nails turned out amazing, she really took her time to make sure they were exactly wat I wanted
The space is cozy and the girls are very considerate. They did a great job with my cuticles and my nails look really great. I will probably go back there again
The owner took good care of me! I was looking for a new place to get a dip powder manicure and she did not disappoint. They also have great designs so I will definitely be back!
